1. Identity of the operator

The personal data operator is Rent a car Iasi S.R.L. (CUI RO40493714), which operates SkyCenter, Strada Ciric 66, Iași 700335.

2. Categories of data collected

Depending on the service used, we collect:

  • Identification data: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number;
  • Identity data (for rent-a-car): series and number of the identity card or passport, driver's license number;
  • Booking dates: flight dates, parking/accommodation/rental periods, vehicle registration number;
  • Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (collected through cookies).

Online payments are processed exclusively through PCI-DSS certified third party providers. SkyCenter does not store complete bank card data.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

  • Execution of the contract (art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR) — processing reservations and providing services;
  • Legal obligations (art. 6 para. 1 letter c GDPR) — issuing invoices, fiscal reports, ANAF obligations;
  • Legitimate interest (art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR) — communications regarding existing reservations, security of the premises;
  • Consent (art. 6 para. 1 lit. GDPR) — direct marketing, newsletter (only with your express consent).

4. Rights of data subjects

According to the GDPR Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Deletion (“the right to be forgotten”) — in the cases provided by the GDPR;
  • Restriction of processing — in certain circumstances;
  • Data portability — to receive the data in a structured, usual format;
  • Opposition — against processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing.

5. Duration of data storage

  • Booking and invoice data — 5 years (according to Romanian fiscal legislation);
  • Identity data for rent-a-car — 3 years from the completion of the contract;
  • Marketing data — until consent is withdrawn or upon request;
  • Session cookies — are deleted when the browser is closed; the persistent ones, according to the duration specified at installation.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction or disclosure: HTTPS connections, restricted access to internal systems and regular staff training.

7. Cookies

The SkyCenter Sites use:

  • Essential cookies — necessary for the operation of the site (session, language preference);
  • Analytical cookies — Google Analytics, to understand visitor behavior (anonymized);
  • Translation cookies — Google Translate, for translation functionality.

You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the site.

8. International data transfer

Certain third-party services (Google Analytics, Google Translate, payment processors) may involve data transfers outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are carried out with adequate guarantees, according to art. 46 GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions of the European Commission).

SkyCenter may update this privacy policy. The revised version will be published on the website with the date of the change. We recommend that you check this page periodically.
